My Project
COVID slowed down learning for so many of our young people at a very crucial stage. It left many of our students stuck every day on the computer trying to learn and keep up when many of them still learn better with hands-on learning and reading an actual book. Our school doesn't have a library and I teach English Language Arts to an extremely diverse multilingual/leveled group of fifth graders. I chose a variety of books for a class library that they could relate to, be engaged with, and still learn standards while having fun.
