it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My special needs students with disabilities, including Autism and Down syndrome, thrive with hands-on, interactive learning. I am requesting engaging board games, farm-themed sorters, and play putty to encourage social interaction, conversation, and turn-taking during our speech therapy sessions at school.
Early intervention is crucial for building communication and social skills, and these materials will provide fun, screen-free opportunities for learning.
Many of my students struggle with engagement, but hands-on activities spark their curiosity and encourage participation. With your support, I can make our speech sessions more joyful, meaningful, and developmentally enriching for my young students with speech and language delays.
