Brilliant Stained Glass Landscapes Using Geometry

My Project

Students will create landscapes using geometry and stained glass. This project will end our geometry unit with a fun hands-on creative activity. Students will create a landscape using knowledge of angles and angle relationships. They will integrate earth science concepts such as environment, landscapes, and climate into their creation. To create the stained glass plexiglass will be the palette, black hot glue will create the outline, and paint markers will color a rainbow of hues into students' creations.

This project not only reinforces the geometry and earth science curriculum but also provides students with a creative, real-world application of their learning, fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of shapes and their properties.

This unique project will transform our math classroom into a vibrant learning space while allowing students to see their mathematical understanding come to life through art.
