This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our job as educators is to kindle the flame of knowledge and provide students with rich materials to foster a love of learning. What better way to do this than through a leveled library that reaches the needs of all of my students....from my emergent readers to my chapter book readers!
My students are a diverse mix of super motivated and curious 4 and 5 year olds.
Students who are constantly seeking answers. My Kindergarten students come from all parts of the city but have one thing in common, a true love for reading and learning.
My Project
A leveled library would allow my students to engage in guided reading, take home books that they may not have access to at home and fall even deeper in love with reading. A leveled library would allow me to provide just right books to all learners. My students will be able to continue to develop their reading abilities and critical thinking skills.
A leveled library for my hungry readers would mean the world to us!
My Kindergarteners will go into first grade having the skills necessary to thrive. A leveled library would help my readers soar to the stars and beyond.
