it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant celebration that honors and remembers loved ones who have passed away. By incorporating sugar skulls and sugar skull masks into our library activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of this meaningful tradition. These crafts not only introduce students to cultural heritage but also offer a hands-on, creative experience for them that will last a long time.
Creating sugar skulls and masks allows students to explore the symbolism and artistry behind this celebration.
Engaging in these activities helps them appreciate the holiday and significance, fostering a sense of cultural awareness and respect.
Your support will provide essential supplies for these projects, ensuring every student can participate and learn in a meaningful way. Together, we can bring this colorful tradition to life in our library, and make Día de los Muertos a memorable experience for all of our students.
