Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating a warm, welcoming, and well-organized classroom is essential to fostering a positive and engaging environment where students feel safe, supported, and eager to learn. My goal is to transform our classroom into a space that meets the academic needs of my students while also inspiring creativity, independence, and a love for learning.

This project includes a complete set of 25 beginning reader books to build early literacy skills and a language arts workbook to reinforce reading, spelling, and vocabulary.

For student engagement, I’ve selected a reward jar, over 1,000 motivational stickers, and 25 space-themed push pins to celebrate achievements and encourage positive behavior.

To support daily instruction, I’m requesting 2 lined easel pad packs, 2 packs of sheet protectors (100 each), 200 laminating sheets, and various writing supplies including pens, correction tape, and dry erase erasers (6 total). For organization, I’ve included 3 sets of cube storage bins (18 total), a rotating pencil holder, wall-mounted marker organizer, and a pencil dispenser.

I’m also requesting tools to maintain an efficient classroom—2 electric pencil sharpeners, staplers, magnets, paper clips, and a staple gun for classroom displays. For decoration and literacy encouragement, I’ve selected two large wall decals, a 39-foot bulletin border, glow star stickers, and 50 neon poster boards.

To create a comfortable, flexible seating area, I’m requesting 12 carpet circle seats and a wooden easel with over 100 accessories.
