This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students take pride in their music classroom. My students have recently expressed that they would like to sit in color sections on the risers. Mine already have numbers and this made it hard to rearrange as they wanted. With new sit spots, we can have a blue section or team, a red team, etc. They have also asked for colored pencils and I added the colors of the world colored pencils simply because my classroom is diverse and so are the musicians we are learning about! This will help us color musicians accurately to show diversity and respect for others.
