As a third-grade teacher, I see every day how important emotional well-being is to my students' academic success, friendships, and self-confidence. Many of my students are navigating anxiety, stress, and big emotions that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I want to provide them with tools and resources to help them build resilience, regulate emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies.
My classroom is full of bright, creative, and curious third graders who are eager to learn and grow.
Many come from diverse backgrounds and face challenges outside of school that can affect their ability to focus and engage fully in class. By equipping our classroom with mental health resources, I can help create a safe, supportive environment where every student feels valued, heard, and empowered to succeed.
