Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me equip my 8th grade historians with color pencils, posters, and construction paper to explore American history through creativity.
In my 8th grade social studies classroom, we dive into the stories, struggles, and triumphs that shaped the United States.
To help students connect with these events on a deeper level, we use hands-on projects that encourage them to think critically and express what they’ve learned in creative ways.
From colorful timelines of major events to illustrated biographies and persuasive posters, these supplies give students the tools they need to turn history into something they can see, touch, and feel proud of.
