This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Bright ideas need bright paper! Our students need to be able to express themselves as freely and as colorfully as they can. This can be done in their English class in even the smallest of ways. One way is through giving them access to colorful paper on which to complete their writing assignments.
The difference between an essay written on white paper and an essay written on neon pink paper can be amazing!
The students, when they feel they are being seen, really try to do their best. We need to be able to support them being their best by giving them access and the ability to express themselves.
