Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We’re building a lab full of color and cheer,

Where kindness and crayons both draw students near!

With Colors of Kindness, our drawings will show

That care and compassion help all learners grow.

We’ll mark up the sky with bold marker lines,

From broad-line bursts to the Sharpie’s fine signs.

And when art meets learning, it’s paper we chase —

Tagboard and Astrobrights lighting the space!

We’ll cut and we’ll glue (purple glue, what a treat!),

With Elmer’s sticks sticking ideas so neat.

And for projects that shine or papers that wow,

We’ll laminate love — it’s protected now!

Paper plates? Oh yes, we create and invent,

They turn into moons or a weather event!

Even coffee filters serve more than one need,

For chromatography or seed-to-weed!

With classic crayons, black paper to pop,

We’ll illustrate kindness that just doesn’t stop.

And when it’s time to reflect or review,

Our colored file folders help sort what we do.

We dream, we design, we draw and we build —

This wishlist ensures that our hearts are fulfilled.

With sparkle and wonder and color that shows!
