This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, kind, and full of curiosity. Every day, they come into our STEM Center ready to explore, build, and solve problems. They support one another, share ideas, and bring a sense of excitement to learning. Whether they are working on a new invention or helping a friend, they show how special they are in so many ways. I want to make sure they have everything they need to feel confident, safe, and inspired at school.

Supporting students means meeting both their needs and their dreams, which is why our Caring Cart provides important supplies like feminine hygiene products for those who need them.

These items may seem small, but having access to them can make a big difference in a student’s day. No one should have to worry about missing class or feeling uncomfortable because they don’t have what they need. By keeping my Caring Cart stocked, I show students that I care about their well-being and want them to focus on learning without stress.

Along with essential supplies, I also want to spark wonder and excitement in the STEM Center. Items like resin specimens, Snap Circuits, and other hands-on science tools help students explore and discover new things in a fun way. When students have access to these materials, their curiosity grows, and they see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and creators. By supporting both their basic needs and their big dreams, I can help every student feel valued, empowered, and ready to take on the world.
