This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our after-school program provides students with a safe, supportive, and engaging space to learn, play, and grow once the school day ends. Many of our students depend on this time for extra academic help, social-emotional support, and enrichment opportunities they may not otherwise receive. A printer will allow us to prepare worksheets, projects, enrichment materials, and family communication in real time, making learning more accessible. In addition, toys, crafts, and sports equipment will give students opportunities for active play, teamwork, and creativity. With your support, we can provide every child with the resources and experiences they need to feel successful, supported, and cared for.
