My Project

My second grade students are a vibrant, curious group of learners who thrive in a supportive and well-organized classroom. Many of them are developing foundational skills in reading, writing, and math, and they benefit greatly from hands-on activities, visual supports, and a calm, engaging environment. They are special because of their resilience, creativity, and eagerness to learn — each day they come ready to explore, grow, and support one another.

This project will provide essential tools to enhance my student's learning and independence.

Book bins and pastel storage trays will help organize our classroom library and supplies, making it easier for students to access materials and develop responsibility. Bulletin board rolls and tie-dye décor will brighten our space and create an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and inspiring. Headphones with microphones will allow students to engage with digital programs, practice reading aloud, and focus on individual tasks without distractions. Laminating sheets, dry erase pockets, and EXPO markers will turn ordinary lessons into interactive, reusable learning experiences, especially during small groups. Privacy folders will support focus during tests and independent work, and magnetic holders and paper organizers will help keep our learning tools neat and accessible.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom that is not only organized and efficient, but also full of energy and color — a space where students can confidently take charge of their learning. With these materials, I can better support differentiated instruction, provide engaging visuals, and foster a sense of ownership in my students.
