This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A lot of our students have a special artistic talent. They either love to draw or paint. Unfortunately their parents' economy does not allow them to thrive in these talents. With the proper tools handed to them they can bring that talent out.

Let the students shine!

The students need these tools to be able to pour their hearts out on a piece of paper or on a canvas board. These incentives can push them to be more open about their emotions. Their talent will be visible by other students and parents on special displays. This can give them more self confidence and be able to be more social. They will have something to help them clear up some stress as painting or drawing can have a therapeutic calming effect.

Please help me make these items accessible to my low income family students. So they can receive these canvases, sketchbooks, color pencils and acrylic paint sets as incentives for them. These materials will help them relax, make their artistic talents visible and possibly do better in other school subjects.
