Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of computes is a daily activity in our classroom. Headphones will allow students to work independently on their computers without disrupting those around them.
Students in my room spend a lot of time at carpet and have chances to work in areas comfortable for them.
Comfortable and flexible seating for children would allow them to work on the floor more comfortably and move their seats around the room when needed. Students would also use these seating options in our reading corner to read independently or with their peers in small reading groups.
In our room we utilize group materials. Baskets would allow group leaders to gather their needed materials and carry it back to their groups in one trip rather than several trips. These baskets will also teach students how to stay organized and work efficiently to get their needed materials.
