My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! We are practicing learning our letters, letter recognition and letter sounds. We are hoping to have activities for our classroom that allows us to learn.

Our school is nestled in the City of Boston.

Our students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of my students are English Language Learners.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

Pre-K is a student’s first experience with school, and I would like to create a classroom that reflects a nurturing and inviting atmosphere. When children feel connected with their classroom they thrive in the environment, and therefore I am asking for tools to create a place that fosters learning. In addition, this Cricut machine will also be used in creating art materials for the students to work with during Center time.

Therefore the atmosphere should be prepared beautifully and to promote peace, tranquility and harmony.

With this Cricut machine I will be able to create classroom materials to enhance the classroom environment, which will foster a warm, engaging atmosphere. The Cricut is also an incredible time saver which will allow me to more quickly and easily create beautiful things for the environment.
