This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the broadcast program grows here at Valley Vista High School in Surprise Arizona. We are bridging the divide in the Local Government and community. My students will receive press passes for Community Events for our produced Afternoon Storm show released on YouTube for our students, parents and communities. Next year we are also geared to visit businesses in the local area to highlight our amazing city.

I know our students are ready to engage to increase their experience in the broadcast profession while learning about city events and helping to develop a partnership between our community and our school.
