This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are self-motivated and are very eager to learn in spite of the challenges we are facing right now. Through our online classes, they are able to access quality education from home. Even though they live in a poor town like Deming, they are dreamers who love to explore new skills and see the world. I love our time sharing about each other’s culture and background online by visual presentations.
My Project
Through this electronic equipment, I will be able to create engaging opportunities for my ESL students. Learning will be more fun than ever in spite of the current situation as we explore various online opportunities for learning and creating at the tip of our fingertips. Seamless access to audio-visual presentations and conferencing will allow students to fully experience the language. It will open them to new language opportunities and take them to places they have never even set foot on. At the same time, they are also able to learn about various cultures in the comforts of their own homes.
