My Project

This project aims to make a significant impact in four key areas: math, science, social studies, and social-emotional learning (SEL). These requested texts are tailored to reflect the diverse backgrounds of my students, these materials will bridge the gap between traditional curriculum and their lived experiences. Imagine a math lesson that draws upon real-world examples from various cultures, a science class that intertwines global perspectives, a social studies session that unveils the interconnectedness of civilizations, and an SEL curriculum that resonates with the unique emotions and challenges our students face.

My primary goal is to foster an inclusive and culturally enriched educational environment that goes beyond textbooks and standardized lessons.

I aspire to cultivate a sense of belonging and pride in my students, helping them see themselves reflected in their studies. I believe that by embracing their cultural backgrounds, I can instill a lifelong love for learning, preparing them for success not only academically but also in the complexities of an interconnected world.
