Help me give my students "Bridges Intervention" is a mathematics intervention program designed to provide targeted, small-group instruction to students in grades K-5
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My newcomer students and my students with Autism vary greatly in their conceptual understanding of math. Some children are learning to count with one-to-one correspondence; others are learning to identify number symbols. Many of my students are learning to connect number symbols with the quantity they represent.
"Bridges Intervention" is a mathematics intervention program designed to provide targeted, small-group instruction to students in grades K-5.
It focuses on essential math skills and concepts through activities, games, and practice pages. The program supports students in building a strong understanding of math concepts by building on their existing knowledge, often using manipulatives and visual models to aid learning.
