Brick Buddies for All

My Students

My students are wonderful, caring individuals. I have several that have challenges in the classroom with behavior and focus, but that doesn't stop them from wanting to learn. Each day my students overcome situations at home that would make most people want to crawl back into bed.

They come to class olready for a new day knowing that they are cared for, loved, and believed in by every adult in the school.

I want to share my love of learning with these children, and I can't wait to see what they become.

My Project

My students love using Legos in their STEM Class! They create, design, and build so many things I get to hear about when their time with the STEM Teacher is over and they come back to math and science class.

I would love to be able to have my students keep individual bags of Lego-type bricks in their desks to use during brain breaks and when finished with their assignments.

We will divide the bricks from the larger boxes, add a small base plate, and have a mini figure to keep their minds engaged and designing when not working on math or science. This will help them keep their focus and alleviate stress from our not-so-normal school year.
