This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Jaguar Café will be run by students in 1st-6th grade special day classes. They will use the Ninja blender and measuring cups to prepare delicious frappes. Students will also measure out and prepare fresh hot coffee using the Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. The foldable cup holders will assist students in safely carrying and delivering orders across campus. The coffee and tea supplies will help the Jaguar Café get off the ground at the beginning of the school year. Profits from the Jaguar Café will be reinvested in supplies as well as student incentives.

The Jaguar Café promotes inclusion and community, as well as work on social, vocational, and math skills.

Students will receive and deliver staff coffee orders, learn about measurements and recipes, count money and give change. With this project, we want to make learning fun and give students different opportunities to work on skills for their future.
