Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My elementary school's Autistic Support classes currently use our Brew Crew program to practice vocational skills such a making a product, following directions, delivering the product, handling money, and making change. We are currently able to make and deliver hot beverages with our Keurig.
By supporting this project, we will be able to expand the program and make cold beverages such as refreshers and iced coffee to be able to offer as part of our program.
The mini fridge will allow us to store green tea, lemonade, and cold brew to pour into the cups and deliver. The ice maker will also allow us to make ice to keep the beverages cold during and after delivering them to teachers.
