Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class consists of 25 students who are eager to learn, all of which have free or reduced lunch due to financial limitations. My students have become driven in the area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). They all have a desire to embrace new challenges that are placed before them and I aim to deliver.
My students, who sadly due to the recent COVID pandemic are forced to learn from home, deserve the best opportunity for success during these difficult times.
My goals are to expose my students to all academic opportunities remotely to the best of my abilities. As we prepare to return to a form of hybrid teaching, I hope to provide the cleanest and safest environment possible.
My Project
My students and I are preparing to return to the classroom in the upcoming year. The building that I teach from is a 100 year old building and, as I put it, may have prehistoric dust. With that being said, I am preparing by bring in air purifiers to help with anything that floats our way.
I hope to offer the cleanest and safest environment possible for my students.
My students deserve to feel safe in all aspects of learning and that includes a dust and particle free classroom.
