My Project
By securing an air purifier and air conditioner for my classroom, we are investing in the well-being and academic success of my students in several ways. Firstly, research highlights the vulnerability of children and teachers to ENT/voice therapy needs due to suboptimal air conditions. By ensuring a properly humidified and clean air environment, these items will directly enhance their vocal health, allowing for more effective communication and learning. Secondly, prioritizing a clean air environment reduces the risk of pathogen and pollutant transmission, crucial for sustaining our collaborative classroom dynamic. Thirdly, in our temperate climate, the air conditioner provides essential temperature control, ensuring a comfortable and focused learning space year-round. Lastly, my students, predominantly Hispanic/Latino, thrive in a supportive environment that honors their cultural discourse and engagement. These items facilitate an atmosphere conducive to embracing and exploring our cultural identities while nurturing a rich learning environment.
