Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am excited to really have my LGBTQ+ students supported throughout the school year with our GSA. I would love to be able to give them access to resources to feel safe and part of a community.
Being able to get together weekly and draw and talk through situations in their life that might be relevant to others is a game changer.
This generation of students really need this support.
Mental health really needs to be at the head of our teaching. For us and for our students. Allowing them the choice and giving them the tools to help themself is really essential!
