My Project

Hello! I am an elementary special education teacher, working in NYC's public school system for the past 18 years. Today, I am looking to deepen my practice with training from the Breathe For Change organization. This 200-hour training will equip me with tools and strategies to help my students build mindfulness practices, develop awareness and expression of their emotions, and explore yoga poses in the classroom. This training has an inclusive and trauma-informed approach to help reach a variety of learners with diverse backgrounds and experiences. This feels like the perfect fit for my current classroom community in Brooklyn, New York.
