My Project
Breathe for Change's research-backed curriculum combines mind-body wellness, community building, and social-emotional learning practices to empower educators to transform education from the inside out.
This experience would help me increase my ability to integrate mindfulness practices into my instruction and improve social-emotional learning outcomes for students and teachers.
I plan to implement a new yoga club in the 2022-2023 school year that could strengthen schoolwide and classroom climate and culture. The program could also foster a deeper commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
My hope is that this new yoga program will help enhance its student's overall physical, and emotional well-being.
