Help me give my students breakout boxes to encourage collaboration, higher order thinking and problem solving skills, all while having fun!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Titzel's classroom raised $422

My Students
My students love learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best varies greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky to being teaching in my hometown at the school I attended in 8th grade!
My students come from a variety of backgrounds, and I will use these materials to make connections with all students!
My Project
The materials will be used by students to complete breakout games. This is similar to an "escape room" experience. These breakout games are created by me, and based on my science curriculum. Students have several locks that they need to figure out the codes to open. Once they have opened all the locks, they will be able to open the box to win!
Students love these breakout boxes; they are able to demonstrate their knowledge of the science curriculum to open the locks and break into the box!
Students work together in teams to open these boxes. They review their science content, and they have fun doing so!
