it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us acquire the tools we need to challenge our brains, while encouraging teamwork and collaboration to thinking outside the box. BreakoutEDU is my go-to bell work to expand the minds of my students. By renewing our BreakoutEDU Digital+ Subscription, students will be able to continue enhancing their learning through engaging activities that provide daily challenges that strengthen student engagement and content knowledge. Soft skills are essential in today's workforce and BreakoutEDU is the perfect platform to create a learner-centered experience where students work together, think conceptually, and utilize prior knowledge for deeper comprehension.
The goals for this project include establishing a learner-focused setting that enhances social and emotional learning competencies through collaboration, empathy, persistence, and problem-solving abilities.
These are skills that will create a society of people who can work together and think creatively to solve problems.
The students in my class are dropout prevention students who have struggled most of their lives. They come to my school for smaller class sizes and more individualized instruction. These kids need something different to engage them and encourage them to work together is a positive, safe environment. They learn how to work through their struggles and tackle problems in different ways until they find a solution. They analyze, synthesize, and apply knowledge in new ways and find success. Something that they felt was too hard in the past, is now something they can successfully solve. They begin unlocking a love for learning that was missing from their previous educational experiences. I am helping to build the leaders of tomorrow and Breakout is my go-to tool to complete that task.
