Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The iPad I am requesting connects with the projectors we use at school. Having this device will allow me to project from any part of the room which will give me the freedom to walk around and support any student without interrupting the lesson. This specific item will make a difference because it will make it easy for me to take pictures of student work or teacher examples/demos and instantly display it to the whole class so all students can access the learning. The apps and resources I would be able to access through the device will support me in helping my English language learners and students with IEPs.
My goals for this project are to teach my students how to use and give them access to tools and technology that will support their learning.
The device would be accessible for students to engage in research, educational resources and the ability to learn to navigate technology they don't have access to at home. My students are special because they are resilient and persevere through challenges despite societal and inequitable obstacles that often times affect them.
