This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students come from low-income families. When they come to school it's an escape for them. We try our best to make sure every student receives what they need regardless of their economic status. The majority of our students receive free or reduced lunch making us a Title I school. Our teachers share their supplies with our students so they have everything they need to succeed in school. Many of our students spend most of their day in school because their parents work long shifts or two jobs to make ends meet. We try to offer many clubs and after school activities so all students can be involved in our school community. Please take a minute to check us out. Thank you!

My Project

We have brought back morning announcements!

With the start of our club, our students have so many great ideas that they want to share with their fellow students and teachers.

We want to be able to give our students the best opportunity to create morning announcements. We believe that with a new professional camera, specifically the Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm is II Lens Bundle, our students will have the best opportunity to learn about photography and filming while involving the entire school. These materials will make all the difference as our students learn about professional film making.
