This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting materials that will help me provide my students with resources for their academic learning. I am the ELL specialist in my school, and I service 7 different groups of Multilingual learners who are all at different language proficiency levels. The resources I make them are all targeted to their individual needs. the laminator will allow me to create long-lasting materials for them to use all school year. With the laminator, I can laminate their Alphabet sound walls and picture dictionaries. I will also be able to laminate vocabulary cards for them to use during lessons.

The tablets I am ordering are essential to my students.

With these tablets, my students can use different applications to help translate for them and help me incorporate their first language into all of their lessons. We currently do not have a sharpener in our classroom, and our pencils are constantly unsharpened. I would like my students to have sharpened pencils when doing handwritten activities.
