Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I don't view my students as students with disabilities, but as students with different abilities. My students may have various challenges because of their disabilities but they don't let that stop them from succeeding in school. However, my students not only face academic challenges, they also face challenges in their daily lives, as they live in a low-income, high poverty area. As their teacher, I try my best to give them the best school experience as I possibly can!

My Project
My students with special abilities can find learning difficult and frustrating at times. Therefore, I want to create tailored experiences for my students and break down the barriers with technology. With the advancement of technology, this can be possible, however, I need these resources for my students.
My vision is to use the iPad and Osmo Kit to better reach my learners and to disguise learning as fun and games!
This will help make learning more student-centered and engaging! An iPad and Osmo Little Genius Kit brings learning to life! The Osmo Kit will give both my students in Kindergarten and First Grade who struggle with learning letters, letter sounds, reading and more the right tools to improve!
