My Project
Providing nutritious ingredients and creating your own breakfast, helps provide growing teenagers the skills and habits to build muscles, and brains to meet the demands of academics and athletics.
A full day at school with sports, a growing teenager needs to get a nutritious breakfast and make wise selections of various food products that are not easily accessible.
Our student/athletes train hard to keep their grades up and also perform at various sporting competitions, often times they are too tired in the morning to eat a healthy breakfast and neglect to eat until they get home after school or sports.
Providing them an opportunity to create their own breakfast by choosing a buffet of nutritious items, they can choose healthy alternatives to chips, soda, and kool-aid.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
