Bravo to Boogie Boards

My Students

Traveling back and forth between schools can be challenging. I have two classrooms at both schools to support my students. Both schools are within five minutes of each other. This opportunity allows me to work with twice the number of students.

My third and second graders enjoy hands-on activities, as well as getting the opportunity to be creative and explore the world.

They enjoy getting the opportunity to move around the classroom and learn in various environments.

While I can take some materials with me between schools, I need to leave other materials behind. My students deserve to have classrooms that are fully stocked with materials for their needs. I am a new teacher and working towards getting more materials for my students.

My Project

Every year, teachers and students go through countless dry erase markers. They constantly need to be replaced creating a cost to teachers and schools. Boogie Boards act similar to dry erase boards and allow students to show their work while using technology. They are eco friendly and save paper as well as keeping plastic dry erase markers out of landfills. Boogie Boards do not need to be charged and are ready to use at any moment.

Students will want to show work in order to use the Boogie Boards.

This will help them solve math problems and catch mistakes. As a result, students will better understand the material.
