My Project
I love how determined and resilient my students are. Many of them come from under-resourced backgrounds, but they show up every day ready to learn, grow, and make music together. They take pride in their performances and are always eager to improve.
This project will provide 7 trombone mouthpieces, which are essential tools for tone production, comfort, and overall musical development.
Currently, some students are sharing mouthpieces or using old, worn-out ones that limit their ability to play with proper technique and sound quality.
By giving each student their own reliable mouthpiece, they’ll be able to practice more effectively, gain confidence in their playing, and contribute more to our ensemble’s sound. These mouthpieces will help them build the foundation they need to succeed in band and beyond.
