This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are always eager to try new things, to stretch their limits. Sports resources nurture this by offering hands-on, experiential learning that extends beyond the classroom.

The new weight set and bar clips will help our students maintain a correct balance and will be safe for working out, and the new mouth pieces, workout gloves, and socks will benefit kids who don’t have access to buy these items from athletic stores.

Sports help reduce anxiety and depression, boost self-esteem, and foster a sense of belonging and identity through team bonding.
