Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, energetic, and always eager to learn in new ways. They especially love taking their learning outside, where fresh air and open space spark creativity and collaboration. However, direct sun and heat can make it hard to focus and stay comfortable. That’s why we’re asking for a Canopy Umbrella—to create a shaded, cool outdoor classroom where students can read, write, and learn safely. This simple addition will help transform our schoolyard into a flexible learning space that supports focus, fun, and well-being. Thank you for helping us learn beyond the classroom walls!
