This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Preschool Literacy Teacher with low income students from a high-need community that is mostly of Hispanic population.
The majority of my students have parents that are not able to read, write, or speak English. My students need to listen to inviting age appropriate English that is language rich which entices them to want to read and listen to stories.
It would be beneficial for my students to have the Tag Reader Pre-K Center Set in order for them to listen and follow along with stories being read to them. The Tag Reader can help them track print from left to right and top to bottom. It can also focus on one word in the story. By giving the students a book they can interact with they will be fueling their brains by reading a story.
You will help make fueling a child's brain with reading possible by providing these students with the the Tag Reader Pre-K Center Set.
