Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 8th grade students are a remarkable group of young individuals who attend a Title 1 school. With 97% of our student body being Hispanic, they bring a rich diversity of cultures and perspectives to our classroom. These students are incredibly dedicated and motivated, thinking about their future and the opportunities that lie ahead.
They understand the importance of education in achieving their dreams and are committed to putting in the extra effort to succeed.
Help me give my students the intense focus and energy needed during our early morning science tutoring sessions, by providing Rice Krispies bars, granola bars, Cheez-Its, and Pringles. Their participation in early morning science tutoring sessions is a testament to their determination and their desire to excel in their upcoming state science test.
