This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Brain Pop is an online subscription for diverse and enthusiastic learners like the student population in my classroom. Brain Pop helps to give these students background knowledge to access topics in a fun and engaging way. The cartoon characters and the quiz that dings when a student gets the answer right make learning easy, accessible, and fun!

Brain Pop is an excellent way to give students fun and engaging introductions to many standards.

I plan to use the many resources on the Brain Pop site to integrate multiple ways of learning about different concepts into the many units of study I teach each year.

Learning is so much more engaging when you use the short, age-appropriate videos from Brain Pop that introduce and explain vocabulary and concepts!

I know that my students will enjoy the humor and comic book format of this engaging educational resource, as well as learn from critical thinking and classroom discussions that it will spark.
