My Project
BrainPoP ELL is a subscription based website that offers learning games, animated movies, and activities. Designed with relevance, depth, and humor to encourage kids on their unique learning paths. It also has over 90 scaffolded lessons to build vocabulary and grammar skills for all English language learner. BrainPoP ELL would make it possible for me to give my class of second grade English language learners access to the vocabulary and grammar they need to become proficient in the English language in an exciting and meaningful way.
With the right tools anyone can learn a new language.
My goal for this project is to help all student gain access multiple resource to support their language development.
My second grade class is filled with enthusiastic learners who love to learn through multimedia experience. The majority of my students are newcomers who have moved here from Ecuador, Russian, Venezuela, West Africa, Bangladesh, and Portugal. So not only are they adjusting to a new grade, but for some of them it’s also a new language and a new culture. I believe BrainPoP would be a great addition to our classroom and help support them in learn new vocabulary and grammar in a fun way!
