Help me give my students a classic book that they can relate to.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Ricks's classroom raised $275

My Project
This book is a classic to which teens relate well. It raises issues of friendship, ethical dilemmas, and the value of making correct choices.
Having a book you can hold in the classroom while reading literature circles provides immeasurable benefits to a classroom.
Our project's goals are clear and purposeful. We aim to foster a love for reading and learning among these students by engaging them in shared literary experiences. The novel will be read within small literature circles, creating an environment that encourages discussion, critical thinking, and comprehension. Beyond reading, our students will participate in analytical projects that not only enhance their understanding of the material but also develop their analytical and communication skills.
What makes our students truly special is their resilience and determination to overcome the obstacles life has presented them. Many of them come from underprivileged backgrounds, lacking the resources and support that many take for granted. In families where reading and literacy may not be prioritized, these students face a significant challenge in acquiring essential skills for a secure future. By donating to our project, you're not just providing books and materials; you're empowering these students with the tools they need to break free from the cycle of limited opportunities. Your support will help them develop skills that will serve as a foundation for a brighter and more promising tomorrow.
