This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in my classroom are active learners. They are very independent workers. Most come from lower economic homes and have very little resources at their disposal. I also have a lot of students who are bilingual and English is their second language. Students in my classroom are thinkers and problem solvers. They dive into all areas of the curriculum and read about it, explore it, question it, and develop a good understanding of the subject or topic we are learning about. We are in an open pod school pod with 3 other classes.
My Project
My students are working hard on many standards and concepts that they are required to learn in 5th grade. Currently, my students have been on distance learning and have class each day with me online. With the modified schedule we have, there is not a lot of time for fun review. I would love to provide the BrainPop App for my students.
The BrainPop App is a fun app to use to review the skills and standards I am teaching in my classroom.
I am asking people to donate to provide a one-year subscription for my classroom. With the uncertainty related to Covid 19, I am not sure how long my students will be on distance learning and not in the classroom. BrainPop can be used in both places on their individual devices. If you can help me provide this resource to my students that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.
