My Students

Reading is very difficult for my students. They are all non-English speakers, so when it comes to teaching them reading skills we struggle. Your generous donation will provide us with the materials to improve both their English and comprehension.

All of my students are ESL students.

I have students from China, Pakistan, South Korea, Mexico, and Russia. Due to budget cuts in our district it is very difficult to get extra funds for enhancing learning. All of my students are eager to learn, but we face a difficult journey. Not only do they face a language deficit they also face a social deficit. They have a great difficultly making friends and fitting in due to their lack of their common English language.

My Project

Since all of my students are learning English, Brain Pop ESL is wonderful addition to our classroom. The students will use the website to learn English. They will learn how to listen, speak, read, and communicate in English. Any curriculum enhancement that I can add to our everyday learning will benefit these students a great deal. BrainPop ESL is a wonderful program, but due to budget cuts we are unable to purchase it.

My students are so eager to learn the English language, but we lack the resources to keep them engaged.

You will be providing much needed material to these non-English speaking students. My students will be learning the English language and how to read because of your generous donation.
