This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

With hearts full of joy, my TK students come into school ready to learn through play. They love big, play big, and learn big as they go from 4 to 5 in the first few months of school and grow in both mind and body. Transitional Kindergarten is the first of a two-year kindergarten program designed for children who miss the cut-off for Kindergarten by just a small amount. These students may not have had any prior school experience, or they may be preschool pros.

These tiny people will light joy in the world around them!

They aren't quite ready to take on the world, but with love, patience, and support, it won't be long!

My Project

In our school, students of a variety of backgrounds and abilities are welcomed into each classroom. Having a visual timer like the one requested will be extremely helpful for our learners who need more visual cues.

The magnetic letters will be wonderful for centers and small group instruction with the teacher, allowing students to be creative with letters and also allowing me to work closely with students who need a bit of extra help!

Finally, the brain teasers are a perfect math center but also wonderful as a brain break for students who need it. I can't wait to use these in class!
