My Project

Food is a basic need for survival. If students are hungry it is proven in studies that they learn less. In order to engage meaningfully at school, students must have their basic needs met. My goal for this project is to meet basic needs. Several students in my classes face food insecurity at home.

Studies prove that being hungry goes hand in hand with lower amounts of learning.

Support these students with accessing learning by meeting one of the most basic needs! Students should not have to worry about where to get food.
