This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of 7th graders who are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. Many of my students are English language learners, and they are constantly pushing themselves to grow academically and personally. They show up every day ready to engage, ask questions, and support each other — even when they’re hungry. Unfortunately, many of my students don’t have access to consistent meals and often come to class without having eaten lunch.

It’s hard to focus on reading, writing, and class discussions when your stomach is growling – that’s why I’m asking for help to provide snacks like granola bars, crackers, and fruit snacks.

Having access to these snacks will help my students stay focused, and ready to learn throughout the day.

Our students are incredibly hardworking and capable. By providing them with snacks, I hope to give them the energy and focus they need to reach their full potential. Your support will make a meaningful difference in their learning and overall well-being. Thank you for helping me create a classroom where every student feels cared for and ready to succeed!
